Erika is a therapist in San Francisco with her private practice in the Marina District. In addition to her private practice, she serves as the Director of Clinical Operations at The Healthy Teen Project, a treatment facility specializing in adolescents with eating disorders in San Francisco and Los Altos, CA. Erika's clinical expertise includes conducting individual, group, and family psychotherapy with adolescents, and adults on issues of eating disorders, anxiety, mood disorders, and life issues. She has experience working at varying levels of care, including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient settings. She integrates different theoretical frameworks in her approach to psychotherapy based on the individual needs of her clients and what they strive to achieve through therapy. Erika’s treatment philosophy promotes a collaborative therapeutic relationship emphasizing the client’s strengths and empowering them to cultivate their own life worth living.

 

Erika is licensed in the state of California as a Professional Clinical Counselor (#3332) and Marriage and Family Therapist (#114150).  She is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS-S) and Supervisor by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) and certified in Family Based Treatment (FBT) by Train2Treat. Additionally, she is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Erika serves as the President of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of IAEDP.
